Meet our Head Chef
The Holiday Inn Winchester is pleased to introduce our new Head Chef Paul Bentley who joined us at the beginning of August.
Our chef is a 4th generation Chef – his Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather were all Chefs.
He started cooking when he was 13 and used to go to work with his dad and help out at the hotel he worked in. He qualified at catering college and then worked with his uncle at Kent Cricket Ground.
Most recently he worked at The Regency Hotel in Newbury for 3 ½ years as Sous Chef and Senior Sous Chef and at The Winchester Hotel as Head Chef for 7 years.
Paul and his team at The Winchester Hotel were awarded an AA Rosette in 2007 and Paul maintained this standard for the following four years when he left the hotel to join Holiday Inn Winchester.
Our Head Chef Paul brings his own distinctive style and makes the restaurant rosette the perfect dining venue in Winchester.
