Type: Full Time

We are seeking a full time Food & Beverage Supervisor, with excellent communication skills to assist and support the Food & Beverage Manager in the day to day running of our busy Food Service and Bar areas to ensure a consistently high level of service.  You will be required to work 40 hrs per week, working 5/7 days.   The ideal applicant should be well presented, have strong organisational skills and a good eye for detail. You should be passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality to our guests in a professional and approachable manner and have the ability to establish a good rapport whilst maintaining the high standards that the hotel is renowned for, focussing on our guests needs at all times. Previous supervisory experience is essential.

 Type: Full Time

The Holiday Inn, Winchester a 141 bedroom hotel on the outskirts of Winchester seek an F&B Assistant Manager to join their F&B Team. Working across our Restaurant, Bar and banqueting departments.

You will assist and deputise for our Restaurant & Bar Managers, running shifts and supervising staff. You will assist with the on-going training of the team, ensuring brand standards are met.

This is a guest facing role so we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This would suit an experienced F&B Supervisor with Hotel and Rosette experience. A dedicated and passionate team player with a willingness to learn and progress.

Housekeeping Assistants

Type: Casual

Our long established Housekeeping team need some new members to join them in the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. Various days and hours are available.

Previous experience of working within a hotel would be great but not essential as full training can be given.

Nights Supervisor

Type: Full Time 

Your main duties will include: 

  • Working with a small Nights team you will act as Supervisor on reception overnight where you will be involved with checking in and out of late arrivals and early departures.
  • You will deal with any guest queries and meeting the needs of our guests as they arise. 
  • Responsibility for the security of the building and guests overnight, including the completion of security walks.

 

Other duties will include: 

  • General administrative duties
  • Assisting with the setting up and preparation of conference rooms for the following day.
  • Some general cleaning of the public areas of the hotel
  • Preparation of a limited overnight room service menu as required.

 

The ideal candidate will be happy to work nights and have previous supervisory experience, your shift will start at 11pm and end in the morning at 7:30am.  You will be working 40 hours per week on a rota with other colleagues which could include weekends.

You will be computer literate with good communication skills and have the ability to solve problems whilst staying calm under pressure.

Accounts Assistant – Maternity Cover

Type: Full Time

You will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and supporting the accounts department in the hotel.

Your duties will include:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Audit & Control
  • Daily Banking and reconciliation
  • Cashbook Reconciliation
  • Stock
  • Assisting with the Month end Process
  • Assisting the Financial Controller with other ad hoc duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have had experience in an accounts department with an understanding of the tasks mentioned above. Hotel accounting experience would be an advantage but not essential as training can be given.

Ideally we seek someone with Pegasus Opera Accounting system experience, Excel Skills and good all round experience of an accounts system. Someone who is organised with a well-structured approach. A team player happy to turn their hand to most things in this small department. Someone with an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

This is a full-time role covering Maternity Leave, working 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday. Salary depending on experience.

PART TIME RECEPTIONIST 

Part time Receptionist required to join our Front of House Team working 24 hours per week. 

The Reception team are the ‘face of the hotel’ often the first people that our guests meet, so this is an important role in the hotel.  The role is varied, interesting and sociable – no day or guest is ever the same.

Your first priority will be the care of our guests and their needs whilst staying at the hotel. 

Some of your other duties will include: 

  • Checking in and out Guests
  • Answering the telephone
  • General administrative duties
  • Some cash handling 

The ideal candidate would be someone with previous customer service experience. Hotel experience would be perfect but not essential as full training can be given to the right person. 

You should be:

  • Well organised with an eye for detail.
  • Friendly and polite with polished communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Have a professional attitude with the ability to work under pressure whilst remaining positive
  • Computer literate
  • A good team player
