The Holiday Inn Winchester played home to millions of pounds worth of supercars and their owners on Saturday as The Cannon Run’s Spring Break visited Winchester.
The event, which was filmed for Spotting London’s Supercars, a new TV documentary to be aired on Sky and Freeview. Over a hundred luxury car owners and TV crew visited and stayed at the Holiday Inn Winchester en-route.
Cars including Bugattis, Ferraris, Aston Martins, Lamborghinis, Porsches and Bentleys were among those on display, as seen in the video at the bottom of this article.
The Cannon Run is one of Europe’s leading driving holiday providers catering for car-fanatics across the UK and Europe. The event and production of the show was allowed by government following TV-making guidelines. Strict COVID-19 safety policies were in place throughout, including testing and isolating from the public throughout.
Louis Rigney, General Manager of the Holiday Inn Winchester, said: “It was great to be able to host part of this event and the filming of the TV show at the Holiday Inn Winchester.
“With our modern, spacious facilities and large car park available, it was the perfect location for The Cannon Run and TV production crews to visit on the journey from London to Torquay.
“As a COVID-19 vaccination centre, we take great responsibility in ensuring the safety of our staff, guests and local community. The organisers and production teams were incredibly diligent in making this event COVID-safe and we were delighted to be able to be a part of it.”
The programme, Spotting London’s Supercars, will air this summer and can be seen on Sky channel 365, Freesat channel 516, Connected Freeview channel 264 and online via Spotlight TV.
