Yes, we offer 8 accessible rooms with adapted facilities and wet rooms. Guide dogs are also accepted at the hotel.

Am I allowed to smoke in the hotel and in the rooms?
Smoking is not permitted in the hotel but guests can smoke outside the hotel entrance or on the outside terrace. Please note there is a £100 charge for any evidence of smoking within the hotel.
Does the hotel have a restaurant
Yes, the hotel has an restaurant called the Odyssey Bar and Pizzeria . The Odyssey Bar and Pizzeria has unique blend of dishes made using local produce sourced from local award-winning farms plus a range of delicious hand stretched pizzas cooked in the restaurant’s very own pizza oven. . The restaurant serves a full English buffet style breakfast each morning. The restaurant is also open for lunches including Sunday lunch and also open each evening from 6.30pm-9.30pm. Does the hotel have any leisure facilities
The Hotel has a gym located in the ANA Spa on the ground floor of the hotel. The gym is free for hotel residents to use and is available Monday to Friday between 6.30am and 10pm and Saturday to Sunday 8am to 9pm.
The ANA Spa facilities are chargeable to hotel residents at £25 per person per day for use of the hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room and foot spas for a maximum of four hours. Access is subject to availability and must be pre-booked and includes use of a towel. Treatments are additional and can be pre-booked online or by calling the hotel.
Please note that both the Gym and Spa are strictly for over 18’s only.
Is the reception desk 24 hours?
The reception desk is manned 24 hours a day. Should you require access to the hotel after 11.30pm you will need to use the intercom to alert staff who will then unlock the front entrance.
When is payment taken for my accommodation?
Please be aware that the card used when booking must be present on checking in.
Please note that we offer two different rates. Our advance purchase rate is a fully pre-paid rate that is non-refundable and the dates are non-transferable. The other is a flexible rate that gives you up to 4 pm the day prior to arrival to cancel or amend this booking. The different rates are stated in the description at the time of booking. If you book on the flexible rate payment will be taken upon departure. However, we do take a pre-authorisation upon check-in.
A pre-authorisation of your room rate plus an additional £50.00 per night to cover incidentals is required on check-in. If you choose to use a debit card these funds are reserved in your account and some banks will show them as a debit. If this card is not used on check out, please be advised it can take up to 10 working days for the funds to be released back into your account.
If you are booked on a pre-paid rate you will be given the option upon check-in as to whether to do a pre-authorisation. If you choose not to you will be unable to charge to your room and must pay cash or card when purchasing food or drink. Please be aware that after 11pm our bar is room charge only which again does require a pre-authorisation.
Should you wish to pay cash on check-in please be advised that we will require either a pre-authorisation of a debit or credit card or £100 cash deposit is required. Should you leave a cash deposit the duty manager will be required to check your room prior to returning your deposit.
Policies
Please be advised that should any damage be caused to either accommodation or communal areas within the hotel you will be liable. This includes the removal of items such as soft furnishings, furniture or electrical items. Additional cleaning charges will also apply for excessive soiling in rooms, including bodily fluids or smoking.
For any outstanding charges, we will endeavour to contact you prior to debiting your account. However, if we do not have any contact details the card given at the booking stage will be debited as agreed by signing your registration card on arrival.

The Hotel accepts American Express, Master Card, Visa, Visa Debit, Diners, Maestro, Solo and Business Advantage.
Bike Hire at Holiday Inn Winchester
Here at the Holiday Inn Winchester, we now have a bike hire service available for our guests.
How to hire a bike:
- Simply call in advance or book at the front desk upon your arrival.
- Charges for the hire of bikes are £20 for half a day and £30 all day or £10 evening charge.
- Locks, helmets, bike pumps, lights, and high vis jackets are provided with no extra charge.
- A £50 pre authorisation or cash deposit is required when hiring a bike.
- When you bring the bike back to reception, before the deposit is returned the bike will be checked over by a memeber of staff.
- This service is for over 18’s and residents only.
Does the hotel have wireless internet and what are the tariffs?
Yes, the hotel has Wireless Internet throughout the hotel including the rooms, the lobby, the business centre and the meeting rooms. Wifi is complimentary for all.
What is the pet policy?
Pets are not allowed at the hotel. Only assistance dogs are accepted. Please see a member of the reception on check in to discuss our pet policy further.
Do you have on-site parking and how far is it from the hotel entrance?
We have our own onsite car park which is managed by Parking Eye. Parking costs £10 per night for all guests. Everyone will need to register their vehicle at reception. Visitors to the hotel using the food and beverage facilities will get two hours free parking, while conference guests can park for free.
The car park is located in front of the hotel and there is also a drop-off area and a number of accessible parking spaces and two complimentary electric car charging points.
Is it possible to get a cot?
Yes, we can provide you with a FREE cot. Just mention it at the time of booking (subject to availability).
Does the hotel have a bar?
Yes and a large lounge area with outside terrace and plentiful seating. The bar and lounge serve food all day offering light bites, sandwiches and more substantial meals. Food is served daily from 10am-10pm.
Do you offer room service?
We offer a 24-hour room service menu. After 10 pm only sandwiches are available.
Are Non-residents welcome at the hotel?
We welcome non-residents whether for business or leisure. Our spacious lounge area is perfect for meetings or coffee with friends. Alternatively, our restaurant is open daily and we also have a beautiful terrace area which is perfect for sunny afternoons.
Is there anywhere to store bikes?
We have sheltered, secure bike storage, opposite the entrance to reception. Guests will need to provide their own bike lock. There is nowhere for bikes to be stored inside the hotel and we do not allow guests to store them in the bedrooms.
What is the minimum age to stay at the hotel?
All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout their stay. Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to stay on their own.

What transport is available from the hotel?
Winchester is located just 2.5 miles from the hotel. There is a bus that runs from the main road into Winchester, or a taxi can be booked for you through our preferred taxi company Wintax. Contact a member of staff at reception who will be more than happy to provide you with more details or arrange a taxi for you.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 6.30am – 9.30am Monday – Friday and from 7.30am – 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holidays.
